When to book VFS
Book the VFS appointment after your WAFID medical status is fit and your fit certificate is available. Do not rush to VFS before the medical result is updated.
What happens at VFS
- Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment time.
- Collect or confirm your token as per the local VFS process.
- Submit your passport and required documents.
- Complete biometric capture, including fingerprints and photograph.
- Receive the VFS slip or receipt. The MOFA number is usually written on this slip.
How long it takes
The VFS visit can take around 2 to 3 hours depending on crowd, document verification and counter movement.
After VFS
Once you receive the VFS slip, check the MOFA number on it. In practical experience, the applicant may need to give this MOFA number to the medical center so the medical report can be linked to that number.
Documents
Use the latest VFS document checklist for your visa type. For family residence cases, documents such as passport, visa authorization, photos, family documents, apostille and Arabic translation may apply depending on the case.
