Document checklist
Carry the documents in a simple folder so registration is faster. Requirements can vary slightly by center, so it is better to carry a few extra copies than to search for photocopy shops on the day.
Visa authorization or invitationCarry the document received for the Saudi residence visa process.
Printed WAFID appointment slipA printout is strongly recommended for registration.
Original passportThe passport details must match the WAFID appointment.
Two sets of passport photocopiesCarry first and last page photocopies. Some centers may retain copies.
Aadhaar, if askedSome centers may ask for Aadhaar as an additional local ID.
Pen and cashCarry a pen for local forms and cash as backup for the medical fee.
How many copies to carry
Two sets of passport photocopies are a safe minimum. If the applicant is travelling with family, keep each person’s documents in a separate set.
Children below 12
Children below 12 may not need the full medical test. They may need a polio certificate instead. For VFS submission, this certificate may need apostille and Arabic translation.
Always check current VFS and WAFID requirements before your appointment. Document rules can change.
